I've pulled info from and linked to various sources showing who's originally behind all this. I did not create anything. I hope to create a game that is so different from the original Dawn1.69r game and code(if necessary) for it to basically qualify as my "game", but, like a game developer using someone elses game-engine, I did not create this. I only hope to "create" the game that uses Dawn1.69r. Dawn1.69r development: "The Dawn of Time is a MUD codebase developed by Kalahn [Michael Garratt], originally based on the ROM codebase. Work began on the Dawn codebase in 1997, and it was first publically released at the end of 2000. Thus it has a similar "look and feel" to the Diku/ROM styles of MUD, and of course it is free ." - source Dawn of Time websiteMy personal opinion: Dawn seems to be one of those servers/codebases/game engines that are too good to b true. You get and incredibly flexible and robust system, capable of near endless possibility, in a package that's so easy to use, a non-coder could create an entirely original MUD with it. Kalahn(Michael Garratt) has listed other people who were original developers along side himself, but I'm having trouble locating those credits right now. If/when I find them, I will edit this entry. If you know of the credits, feel free to reply with the information and source link(s). Thank you.
